Not really. Basic, and brown.

That said, I went out to Buckeye today to check on our new house, and I made my first pano! Its rough, VERY rough. But, if you can get past the visible seams, lighting changes, and somewhat uneven sidewalk, I think I did pretty good!

Scroll --------->

That, and, Buckeye will soon be the proud home of a new Wal-mart!

And lastly, I have a question. Buckeye's got their 'official' Stop-light gantry design now, and I like it, but is it not the SAME, or similar to what Scottsdale has?

I think its just about the same, save for the signage.

Nice pano! I can see a slight seam, but its not horrible! Anyways, that first pic dries out my eyes and puts dirt in my mouth, looks so barren.... I thought North Scottsdale was barren! LOL

CodyW,,,, you did a nice job on connecting the pic’s together for the panorama view. It’s been a while since I was down in buckeye but it looks like things are growing. Back to the photo ~ just which brown house is yours? That is the only thing that I dislike about new sub-divisions they paint every house the same color.

My house isn't in the pano, but, if any of you'd like to see it.. Here.

(You might have to imagine the Port-a-Potty isn't there. I hope they get rid of it BEFORE we move in. lol)

Not bad, really, for a cookie-cutter house. Decent value.

1634 Sq Ft - 3 bed 2 bath
Had a base price of $178,900.. With all of our upgrades, it came to $204,000. It was strange though.. The only community I've ever heard of where the design center was denying requests for granite counter-tops.

Looks great Cody,,,, it’s nice that there is a little more space between homes too, I noticed that in the pic. Too many of the sub-divisions seem to have very little between the houses. If I remember correctly I saw a location that had zero lot-lines; on one side of the house all the property belonged to the next-door neighbor. In other words the only side-yard that you would have was on one side only.

These houses look like they stole the style of Albuquerque houses, but then again Phoenix has no culture or any style of their own.

Nor does Albuquerque.

When I think Albuquerque, I think Adobe. Which, you also see in numerous other states and cities around the southwest. Tucson's old district is full of it, is it not? Is ALBUQUERQUE's?

Stucco boxes with a tuscan look belong in California. Stucco boxes with a LIGHT tan belong in Vegas. Then theres Albuquerque and Phoenix, which is just a mish mash of everything brown.
