Does anyone have any suggestions regarding flea markets within a 30 mile radius of Maricopa??

I'm not interested in the slick new kind of flea market, if you know what I mean, but the kind where you can find real deals and great "gems".

Thanks in advance.

We have discussed this before and the type of Flea Market you seek really doesn't exist anymore...Try yard sales, craigslist, and such...

There's one but it a lot more than 30 miles. The swap meet in Quartzite is an old fashioned affair. It is huge and worth a day trip to just check it out. It'll get rolling mid-January when the bulk of the snowbirds arrive.

There use to be/is a swap meet place in Goodyear at Cotton Lane and I-10. Some casual sellers but mostly vendor booths, though. Lots of WalMart stuff being sold for prices higher than it cost in WalMart. For a while it was about the only retail we had in Goodyear.

Someone told me that there is supposed to be an open flea market /swapmeet around Phoenix Airport but I was never able to find it. Does it not exist anymore?
the only one I found is a closed flea market by 28th Avenue and I-17 but much like the one you described, they are hardly 'deals', more like Wal-Mart type stuff sold at or higher than Wal-Mart prices...

It is by the dog track and it is still there. However, it is a lot of cheap Chinese made junk...
