I will be relocating to to the Phoenix area. I am looking at the Chandler/ Gilbert area myself but have only viewed homes aswell as apartments and condo's online. I am also considering the Glendale area which would you suggest. I am looking for an upper middle class area.

I have offices in the Avondale area, Downtown Phoenix (W Lower Buckeye Rd) and North Phoenix off of Peoria Rd. I am reading that the traffic is pretty bad in Phoenix and it would be in my best interest to live close to where you work. I have three offices that i will be traveling back and forth to and as I look at them on the map Avondale and Downtown Phoenix are not too far from each other but North Phoenix (Peoria Rd) is quite a distance.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.......

Well, about the worst place you could be for those locations is Gilbert. Look on the west side. Try Palm Valley area of Goodyear north of I 10. It's about 1/2 hour to downtown after rush hour and only 10-15 minutes to Avondale and Peoria Ave.

I agree; Just about anywhere in Goodyear would be a pretty easy commute for you.

if your looking for upper to upper middle class try litchfield park
beautiful area with really nice homes and awsome landscaping (tall palm tree lined streets and yards and tall mini pines are a few that come to mind)
jus beware of the F-16 noise

If you are looking for an area with a little nightlife then the neighborhoods around the University of Phoenix Stadium might work. It's East of 101 between Glendale and Camelback.

Hey! Welcome!

Do you have a family to consider or are you single? It makes a big difference, IMHO.

There are nice "upscale" areas in most areas of the Phx metro area... But the suburbs are very suburban....so...if you have a family with young kids we might suggest something much different than if you are a single 32 year old.

Traffic is bad, but I think you need to figure out what you like in a living area then figure the trafic thing out...that you have 3 offices is a huge plus... If they are downtown and west side, my broad opinion is don't look at the east Valley.

Give us more info. Good luck on the move!
