Can anyone give me some info on where to get tickets for the games at Hohokam park. What is the seating like, etc? My son is coming here from Chicago in March. I want to take him to a Cubs game out here.

TIA

Of all the spring training facilities, Hohokam has arguably the best atmosphere. Almost like attending a game at Wrigley. Seating's nice (the park was built in 1997), but tickets are hard to come by since almost all games are sold out. Phoenix has a huge population of Ex-Chicagoans and needless to say, almost all of them love the Cubbies

Scalpers and/or StubHub might be your best bets.

Here is a link to the Cactus League. Official site of the Cactus League

Just click on the Cubs logo and you can get all the info you need. I checked availability of tickets for several games and had no trouble finding good seats. If you wait too long and the seats are gone you can always get lawn seats. It is not a bad deal for $7. Enjoy!

Don't wait until the last minute to get tickets. The Cubs draw quite a crowd here. LOTS of Cubbie fans live year round and/or winter here.

Have FUN!!!

HUH?

Take away the people wearing Cubs gear and Hohokam is NOTHING like Wrigley. What a strange thing to say!

hohokam is a lot like wrigley - ivy on the wall, a stadium that aside from it's legend isn't as nice as it's contemporaries and a bunch of drunks in the stands

it's called wrigley west by the drunken idiots who are amazed that they can go to a spring training game at their clubs home park and get this - be surrounded by other fans of the same team - lots of them even

it really is amazing.........
