I think most of the country is quite below average. 90s in June in PHX is awesome! Thats like mid-October levels almost! We're way below average here in Chicago, too, our high tomorrow is only 62. What the?!?!

Weather been sucking here in New York, nothing but torrential rain. My sister lives in Washington, D.C. area and the rain there as well, doesn't stop. We are lucky if we get one sunny day in a line up of 12 rainy days. Horrible. I wish I had your sun!

The crazy thing is that it's actually holding. I mean we've gotten a cold front come through before that will drop the temps below average for 3 or so days, but it's been like this for at least a week and the forcast for the next 10 days shows temps between 90 - 96. That's awesome for June!

I guess I got my wish. Back in May when it was above average, I said why cant we ever get a below average period...and we got it!

Unfortunately people tend to forget these cool periods and only remember the abnormally hot periods and thus form conclusions when the facts are these weather patterns are random.
