Hello. I am moving to Phoenix in a month or so and am trying to line up some rental areas to look at during my house hunting trip. I am going to be working on Van Buren St and understand that is not a nice area. I do not want an incredibly long commute but safety is my number one concern. I also would really like to have a pretty active nightlife nearby. Not really the college scene though, I am in my early 30s but I am single and like to go out and have fun. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Van Buren is a long street. It would help to understand where on Van Buren.

Hi!

Are you looking to rent a condo short term while house-hunting or are you looking to actually buy a condo?

that's one of the areas that isn't that great on van buren - very convenient to both the 202 and I-10 so the freeway access is great and opens up options along with being served by the grid pretty easily ...... probably good single people areas would be old town scottsdale, downtown or tempe in that area

i really have no clue on rents in those areas
