jesus, those left lane campers!.....so afraid they'll lose their place in line that they just stay in the left lane "passing" so they don't get stuck behind a truck in the right lane while other people are "getting ahead"....

sorry to say this, but many of them have Cali origins....I once rode as a passenger with a Cali born and bred woman who stayed in the left lane almost the entire way from Tuc to Phx, passing or not.....just afraid of coming in second.....
I had one on Friday night as I was driving home. It was in between Orme/Dugas and Cherry. So, I went past them on the right which seemed to upset them and they sat on my shoulder - still in the left lane -all the way up the hill.

There is a place the cops like to hang out just before Cherry so I gradually increased my speed as we approached and then slowed down so that the left lane camper would come shooting past me - which he did - right in front of the cops.

Unfortunately, the cops had already pulled someone over so were otherwise occupied.

Thank you all, so much. I'll stick to the right-hand lane and put on my hazards if the going gets rough. I really appreciate your kindness and patience with this nervous Nelly!!
