I thought this would be the best place for this question, as AI know the majority of Arizonan's living in Hermosillo have ties to Phoenix, if not families. How have prices been there. I was shopping for a nice colonial in the centro area for about 250,000 pesos. 13.20 today. Might be ok. Foreigners are not exempt from owning in hermosillo because it is far enough from the coast. 50 km, I believe is the limit.

Hermosillo? As in Mexico? I like Rocky Point but would never buy in Mexico.

I've been curious about this, myself. My dad has a spot down there with my brother and travels back and forth. I think I'll ask how the market is if I see him this weekend.
