Some have mentioned it's hard to find good workers for house repairs - i.e. plumbing, roof, etc. - in the suburbs - ie. Peoria, Surprise, Chandler, etc.
What is your opinion? Thanks

I think it's hard to find "good" anything anymore. You can find a million workers for anything, but the thing is are they good? It's just trial and error unfortunately. Don't get me wrong, you can find people who do a good job, but you might go through a few to find them. It's just like in ANY field. It can be hard to find a good doctor, massage therapist, day care, dry cleaner, anything.

Being in the "suburbs" it doesn't matter. Everyone lives in the suburbs. They are not like small towns where only one guy is the town plumber or something. These are cities with large populations, so you will find a plethora of businesses and contractors or anything else you are looking for. It's not Mayberry town.

There are definitely a lot of con artists and shysters in Arizona, like the place is a magnet for them. I've also lived in Las Vegas and honestly I think Phoenix, and especially Scottsdale, are worse. The place is packed with quick-buck hucksters and shysters.
