Serious question here, no pictures at the moment, its late Ill try to get some tomorrow.

Anyhow, right outside of my door, in the corner, there are these little black pellet things. Not like rabbit or deer poor, small, reaaaaal small. Almost looks like black couscous (dont eat it like the real couscous). There are hundreds of these small little black things.

Anyhow know what it is? Is it poop? Are they from a bug?

Thanks!

If they look like poppy seeds but much smaller, it could be drywood termites and that is serious. They are not like subterranean termites at all. Look for a teeny 1/32 inch hole anywhere above the droppings, that is where they push their poop out. Drywood termites infest wood vertically.

It doesn't sound like lizard poo. Reptiles expel their urine and feces together, so their waste has a small white tip on it, which is the urine residue.

Are they in a pile, or strewn about randomly? Are they hard, or do they crush to powder easily?

That's what I was thinking when I asked those questions.

Wish you'd been a little more specific. If they're even smaller than the head of a pin, then there's a chance that they're from crickets, trying to get inside.
