Does anyone know of any reasonably priced places to have a wedding reception in Scottsdale or Phoenix?

What size facility do you need? Are you looking for a place that provides their own catering, or one that will let you bring someone in?

Sorry, I guess I should have added some more information to the post.

We are going to have about 50 people coming, we should have a more exact figure as it gets a little closer.

We are open to the catering, we could either cater it ourselves, bring in our own food/company, or we could let them do it, depending on the cost.

Outdoor/Indoor option would be nice, maybe a big patio, but we are really open for the location.

Contact the Valley Garden Center on 15th Ave in Phx. It's right near Encanto Park. They have a very nice outdoor walled garden, and indoor space as well. I've been to a few receptions there, and sent others there. They don't have inhouse catering, so you can bring in your own.

How about the Phoenix Botanical Gardens?

The Desert Botanical Garden (I assume that's what the above post refers to) is a lovely place for a wedding reception... I was there for one a few years ago. They have several rooms for them, and a big patio outside. That may be a little pricier, but it's worth asking.

Yes, thanks for the correction here is the link:

Desert Botanical Garden – Papago Park – Desert Plants

I would also look into the Valley Ho:

I don't think he OP wants to get robbed, suggesting Encanto Park is a bag idea.

They didn't say Encanto Park, they said Valley Garden Center. But you're right, anyway. Who would want to have their reception in one of the Phoenix's best parks nestled in one of its most desirable neighborhoods?

Karma, you aren't READING posts thoroughly again! I didn't say use Encanto Park (although I agree with Robert, who was posting the same time I was-- the park WOULD be a perfectly fine site), I was referring to the Valley Garden Center, and mentioning Encanto Park only to give an idea of where on 15th Ave it is located. The Garden Center is perfectly safe, and I don't think your opinion of the park is accurate either, for that matter.
