How does one report (complain) about a faulty photo radar unit? I've got flashed 3 separate times by the unit on Baseline between Dobson and Alma School. It is a 35 mph zone and I was going between 25 and 35 each time. I don't intend to await the ticket(s).
BTW... Somebody had hung a hand-lettered sign on the unit that said "Highway Robbery".

Are you sure there is something wrong with it ? Alot of people seem to think that since it is a computer, if it took your photo, then you are wrong and should have to pay for it. So why don't you just fork over the money, since that is all the city and state want from you, oh, and don't bother them with little things like it is unconstitutional, that you want to confront your accuser, you want them to prove your speed was not resoanable and prudant, since it is all about money, opps safety.

On CameraFraud.com there is a story about a guy whos car was parked in his garage because he could not drive for several months because of eye problems, who recieved several photo radar tickets while the car was not being used.

Sign the petitions at the state fair or anywhere you see them to outlaw all forms of photo traffic enforcment in AZ

Interesting approach, Senior.

If you are so certain you were not speeding, why are you convinced you were being flashed? Why are you so certain the flashes were directly related to your vehicle and your speeding? Also, why are you preparing to condemn a system and/or fight a citation you haven't even received?

My advice would be to wait for the ticket, or tickets, prior to the stress.

What makes you think that you are going to get a ticket in the first place?

How did you determine that the unit was faulty?

Why would you be driving 10 under the speed limit? Maybe it was flashing you to tell you to pay attention and speed up?

You're not going to get a "ticket" if you were not doing anything illegal. If you do receive anything, you can either fight it or ignore it, good luck either way. I personally don't see a reason to take a day off of work just to go explain that their equipment is faulty.

I hope they take down those stupid cameras and put the radar cops on a more worthwhile duty besides gnarfing down donuts and pointing their radar guns at traffic.

I would rather see more of these cops investigating the serious crimes that take place around here each and every day. Driving 48 in a 40 doesn't warrant police action.
