I could understand the lack of respect if we are talking about the 49ers versus the Chargers in 1995 but the Saints were the #1 seed in the NFC. They also had every chance to go undefeated and only lost 3 games in the regular season. They had one of the most dominant and highest scoring offenses. Yet the Saints were treated as if they were not even a contender. I hope Tony Dungy and the rest of the media will acknowledge their analysis was faulty and were wrong.

And, NO didn't even NEED the interception. That play just put the game cvirtually out of reach.

PM is my favorite player, outside the Cardinals, but I was rooting for New Orleans here. Great job, guys.

Wow. Some of the NO NFL Superbowl shirts are ALREADY sold out in larger sizes. With the 'Believe Dat" going first.

They assumed the Colts were already going to win the Superbowl. I think it's awesome the Saints won

Yeah... ultra-biased Peyton/Colt worship was evident throughout the past couple of weeks. What ever happened to professional sports reporting? I'm very happy for Drew Brees... who was given up by the San Diego Chargers for Phillip Rivers; then overlooked by the media for Peyton Manning!

I certainly hope that we see a lot of crow-eating broadcasters over the next few weeks!

Way to geaux, Super Saints!

Well, the Saints sure made a fan out of me. Of course, my Cardinals come first, and my Vikings come second, but hey, if the Saints can play like that, and be complete underdogs and come out on top, they've earned my respect. Plus, I hate hate hate the Colts, so this game was a no-brainer as to who I was rooting for.

Gotta love this one!

To the NFL: New Orleans Saints victory means we're no longer league doormat | Super Bowl Central - - NOLA.com

Say, would it be tacky to post a Thank You to Jerry Jones for not keeping Sean Payton, over on the Dallas forum?

I'm not superstitious, but I'm not tempting fate either - I haven't made that joke this year.....
Just switch it to the Vikings...my team is cursed. This year hurt. My other team is the Cards Sigh.

Wow, thanks a lot guys. I of course wanted the Colts to win ATS. This whole ordeal has cost me $100, and I never usually bet on sports.
