Thank goodness I'm getting agreement on this one, I was beginning to think I was the only person who noticed all the screwball cab drivers around here.

I guess that's life in a big metropolitan area like this, I'm sure this place can't be the only area with this kind of problem.

Really, it's that way all over no matter what City you go to!!!!!!!!

Phx. just happens to be yet another big City with lots of Cab-driving morons that don't know how to drive or how to navigate the City. Seriously, the way they drive makes me think they bought their d.l. online.

I was just going to say that, they must be NYers as when we went to NY the cab drivers were making up lanes that didnt exist!!!!

Here in Fl and especially Tampa a LOT of ppl non cab drivers are hogging the left lane and drive with 30m/hr...its the mos annoying thing ever!!! I horn...that's why I have a horn....

I used to work in Old Town Scottsdale, and the drivers there were horrible, and it wasn't just the taxi drivers, the people who do private transport in towncars and SUV's are just as bad, if not worse!

The only criteria I have with cab drivers is that they are honest. After living and traveling to Mexico, New York, London Hong Kong and Phoenix I would say wise up to where you are going so you don't take the long 'scenic' route to run up the fare and beware of cabs with a black bag on the meter. I might add I really hate to tip.

well if your having a taxi take you the wrong way or taking you the long way, say something to him, stand up for yourself and don't let the cab driver ripe you off, I my self as a cab driver don't know`every street, I'm just humen just like you. and as for tips you should give tips, but only if the driver gets out of the cab to open the door or even load you bags in the trunk. If the cab driver just sits in the cab and does nothing, I say f the tip. think about it, do you tip your waiter when you go out to eat? I'm a Arizona native and I've been a taxi driver for 10 years and the way I see it, If i have a clean none smelly cab and treat the customers right and go the right way, they well call me back.

Cab drivers can only be as smart as the people they're escorting around. Don't blame the drivers if the passengers don't have the correct address or destination. What about stupid truck drivers? How many times do I see someone in a huge silverado with big tires trying to turn on a narrow street and almost hit someone or park crooked in a parking space? Why stop there? What about stupid old drivers, stupid teen drivers, stupid middle-age drivers, we can go on and on.
