I just wanted to let everyone know that I made it to the Phoenix area today.

I'll post more about the trip tomorrow or in a few days. I've got a lot going on.

But before I end this post, I want to say, thanks to everyone on C-D for helping me out with all my questions, and being a great source of information from all perspectives!

Welcome to the Valley of the Sun. Wait two months and the heat will have you second guessing your decision to relocate here.

You came at a great time, rain is expected through Friday and the temps will continue to stay in the 70's. Welcome to Arizona and Phoenix. I noticed you already changed your location to Phoenix Metro, that was fast. I guess you really are excited about moving here. That's ok if start to miss Minnesota during the summer time, it just takes conditioning. Like when I run 6 miles in 113 degree heat 105 feels like 90 degrees and 70 degrees feels like 30. Well in the winter you'll see you own kinds of people, and maybe meet someone you reconize when you flip a guy off because he turned left at the last second when his blinker was on right for 2 blocks. hahaha

Welcome. Just watch out for coyotes, scorpions, rattlesnakes, microbursts, sand storms, monsoons, water shortages, bad schools, over zealous sheriffs, speed cams, street gangs, auto thefts, kidnapping, drug cartels, lack of jobs, and unbearable heat for 10 months out of the year and you'll be fine!

Maybe so, but after staying through the winter he will see that he made the right choice. Phoenix is so much better than Duluth any day.
