Sure, I think a monthly contest would be great, and I would be cool with starting it.
Quick question. I see that the previous contests are in the form of a poll. Do I need to start the contest as a regular thread first, then after all entries are in, start a poll thread for voting?

I'm not your guy because I am lazy and unreliable (and honest ), but there seems to be interest in both, bringing the contests back, and running it.
