Same here. With the business cards, I print my own and use an image I've taken of a similar topic as a background on the card. For example, a cheerleader or a running back for sports, a stark street scene for architecture, etc.
One of the other things I did was to post photos from the site to several forums and message boards that are well-viewed. While there is a risk that people may copy the photos, each photo has my watermark embedded on it and the EXIF data remains in tact. What generally happens is the thread is viewed. Each time the photo is loaded from the account, it counts as a view of the photo on SmugMug. The more times photos are viewed, the more Google Analytics recognizes the name and address of the site. Thus, when someone types in my name in Google, the first link that comes up is my photo site.
