The Local News paper took some pics of my school which was them at a show for kids. Guess it's me being an artist and more up with times, but I thought they were rather horrible. I know some people say who reads them anymore. But obviously some do.
I see that all the time. Drives me nuts. To my local newspaper's credit, they pretty much print all the pictures I send them though, so you could always do that. Then other folks could complain about yours.

Maybe I should, and they will hire me to replace him.
Are there some laws or ethics about pictures of children of which I am not aware? The pictures were in the newspaper and are quite likely on the internet somewhere already.
I see, just wanting to see what you were speaking of. I know our local paper has quality issues; one day photos are sharp and clear & the next day it looks like ameteur day.

Many of the "local" papers today rely on organizations and individuals to submit photographs of events that are being covered. Sadly, even with national publications, the photos in the hardcopy versions have become more like "filler" for space than to actually support and present a visual representation of key elements within the article.

I've noticed that as well, good point.
