Fuji X10
Canon 20d (50mm 1.8, 18-55mm kit lens, 55-250mm)
Canon AE1 Program (50mm 1.8, 28mm 2.8, some Vivitar telephoto lens I almost never use)
Canonet QL17 GIII
Mamiya C33
Minolta Autocord
I also have a couple of other old cameras, but I've never used them with a tripod. I have two tripods:
Manfrotto 190XDB legs with a 486 RC2 head
Slik Sprint Pro EZ
I actually hardly ever use a tripod, but when I really need them nothing else will do. The Slik is small and light, making it perfect for bringing along when I'm on my bicycle, and the Manfrotto is practically required when using my heavy Mamiya, although on super sunny, clear days I might use it without a tripod.
I started in photography less than 1 year ago.(November, 2011) After I bought my camera a Nikon D3100 w/the 18-55mm kit lens($549), I purchased a 55-300mm VR Tele Lens($249) to go along with it. My next purchase was a 72'' Polaroid Tripod from Amazon($24) that has worked out just fine. Very light and easy to set-up too, with a great stable base. As a bonus the package also included a 72'' collapsable monopod.

I started out with similar equipment as you. I have to say a really wide lens is pretty fun also, I think the Tonkia 11-16mm is the current king. I have a Sigma 10-20 that I used on my D3100 and now D7000
