Volunteered to shoot a neighborhood amateur golf tournament and have some questions.
It will be a shotgun tournament so where should I start so I don't miss anybody?
Should I start at 18 and drive back to 1 so I don't miss anybody or should I find the most picturesque hole and just wait for everybody to play that hole.
Since I will be the only one taking pictures for the event I know I am going to miss a lot of good shots but I'd like to try and get everybody in at least one photo.
I will be using a cart so I can get around pretty fast.
I will only be using one camera but I can change lens from a 35-55mm to a 55-200mm once in a while.

Need some suggestions please.

TY

Default I found the best way to shoot a golf tournament

OK the photo shoot is over and since I got not reply's from the internet pro's I can only assume that I am the only person here to photograph a golf tournament.

I took one of my own ideas and it worked out perfect so I didn't need any advice after all.

Post some photos of your tournament shoot and we'll see if you needed any advice or not! I shoot some golf tournaments (not pro though) but I never saw your post as I was in surgery, in the hospital when you posted it, sorry!
