Here's a pissed-off Mohave Green Rattlesnake, the most toxic snake in north America. He wasn't real happy with me laying on my stomach in the dirt and taking pictures of him.
These snakes will not retreat, BTW. They'd rather hold their ground and fight. That's as close as I got.

They will literally do this for hours if you let them, the small one is actually the instigator. She'll start her "hit and run" tactics until the bigger one starts chasing her. Then she seeks shelter under the picker bush the big one can't quite get into. LOL Devious she is.
They certainly never draw blood and just the rare yip. All teeth and no bite.

I love the zebra. He has a beef with someone for sure. Looks like some other zebra stole his sweetheart.
