Took a few pictures of this moose by my house a couple of years ago.
Camera and lens: Canon rebel XT, and Sigma 70-300mm (set at 200+ mm).

OMG, and I get excited at spotting an armadillo!

Beautiful animals. In the snowy one, is he scratching his chin on a branch? Those are great pix.

No...she is eating those branches! It's all they have in the winter months.

we have only seen a moose go thru our place once,but im sure they have been there and we just didnt see them.but im still hoping! last year we had a beautiful bull elk go right thru the front yard,but i wasnt fast enough with my camera.we usually get heards passing thru in the winter.we live close to blacktail mountain and we go up regularly and watch for moose.

No. The moose was in the ditch by the side of the road, and I used a zoom lens.

Now, this one I had to zoom-in with PhotoShop Elements, and then crop. I used a smaller lens, and the moose was too far. This moose walked through my yard, but I caught with it by the road a block away from my house.
