I've tried winkflash and wasn't really happy with the quality of the print. I've also seen prints from shutterfly and wasn't too impressed with those either. Wolf/Ritz camera does a pretty good job but I just wanted to know what other places are out there. I've looked at dotphoto.com and I might go with them and do the 50 free prints they are offering right now to see how they are.
So...what places do you use to print your digital photos?
I use Snapfish and Clark on a regular basis. My only complaint about Clark is that they do not store your photos for more then 3 months. Snapfish will store them for years. I have heard good things about Smug Mug, but I haven't ordered from them yet. I did get some photo samples from Smug Mug and thought they were very nice quality wise.
I didn't like winkflash quality at first, either, but if you order your pictures in matte finish they are A LOT better. The color is still a little darker than what it should be, though.
I've done some printing with Wal-Mart, the colors are always off, i also done printing with some other places and i can tell the difference. So no, i can't use Walmart, may be for some personal things that no one ever will see LOL
