Lost a tripod by forgetting it at a church after a wedding and not realizing it was gone until weeks after...

Now, last night, my new, beautiful mono-pod, that I've wanted for years, got for Christmas....

First I left it on the rental car shuttle, ran after them and got it back, only to leave in the boarding area of the airport. I don't check luggage, so was carrying it.

Anyone else having trouble keeping their equipment!!! I travel really well, normally, but geez, losing the same piece twice in one day makes me think I need to boost those vitamins!

Thank God i haven't lost anything, i'm trying to be very careful with all the equipment. All the money you put into this stuff, you better watch it like a hawk. The only thing i have problem with is lens caps, i keep on buying them and leaving them elsewhere. Sorry about you monopod, i would be POed LOL

I lose things too. It's so frustrating! I set my Nikon down on a bench at a museum last year to chase after my little one. Stupid move as it walked away rather quickly. I cannot keep up with my lens caps, USB cords and my memory cards. Maybe Gingko Biloba is the answer.
