My pinout has been here a couple of days. Being able to control focus area remotely without touching the camera was appealing to me. And the lightning mode was something I wanted. In a few more days I'll have some shots taken with it if my schemes aren't thwarted. I have the model unit for the D810. I think right now only Nikon full frame and crop body models are in production with other cameras to follow. I took the chance months ago and it has come to fruition. Just need time to shake it down.
