Where are some good places (with good atmosphere, etc.) to watch such matches in the Burgh? I don't just have bars in mind, but also public places. Thanks!

Piper's Pub but it's pretty small and gets packed

Harp and Fiddle and Claddagh's at south side works have things for it along with Rock Bottom at the Waterfront but who knows how many people will actually go for them. This is Pittsburgh and it doesn't involve the Pens or Stillers so curb your expectations. Also I'd expect there to be better atmospheres where you'd have more international people living so maybe in Oakland or Shadyside there'd be some good atmosphere.

Anyone else have any insight? I just need to find a place downtown for after work as I'm leaving for the second games today. I was thinking Sharp Edge but they play annoying music there instead of commentary and isn't the best atmosphere. I'm pretty much looking for anyway with multiple HD tvs.

I'd walk over to the Northside with all the bars near the stadium. I'm sure one of them would have the games showing.

I definitely would but I'm probably going to escape just as the game begins. I was thinking Courthouse Tavern might be OK but seems like a scummy bar. Probably just gonna hit sharp edge again

I would go to Silky's. Thats because I don't like to leave my neighborhood.

Are there any Damons left? Watrefront maybe? They always seem to be playing lots of different sports on their screens.

Also, PISA, Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena that I mentioned in a previous thread.

I am sure they will be having another this Saturday.
