Rocky's Route 8, Allison Park has team trivia the last Saturday of every month. Next one - April 30.
Questions appear on the big screen TV in the bar and lounge area - very spacious - and are all multiple choice. All teams answer the same question at the same time. Winning team(s) get the points.

Cost is $10 for a buffet at 7PM and $2 drafts during the trivia games at 8PM. Two games - 15 Questions each. Rocky's - 412 487-6259

Brillobox's is really annoying sometimes- I like the bar and it's good to trivia there once, but it doesn't end until like 11 and the questions, though ironic, suck and cater to the stay-at-home, 40-year old hipster who has always lived in PA, watching movies in mom and dad's basement all their life.

When it come to movies, I am lost. Now music from the 60s to the 80s, I am excellent. I remember Damon's having music trivia. I remember a Yinzer claim that everyone esle who was playing 80s music trivia was "going down." Sure, he could answer all of the music that WDVE plays, so could I. However, when a question that had anything to do about going left of the dial or that was of the alternative circuit from the 80s was asked, he and his big haired girlfriend would be like "Who the hell is Nitzer Ebb?" That is exactly what happens in a city that holds WDVE in such high regard. This was several years ago. I think Pittsburgh today has more artsy and/or intellectual types who may listen to WYEP-"Where The Music Matters, and music of that ilk.

Calabria's at Frosty Valley Golf Course in Upper St. Clair is the best. They do it every other Monday night starting at 7pm. The dude who hosts it is great, the questions are fun, and they have good food and drink specials. In my opinion, definitely worth the night out.
