This is short notice, but my friend invited me to an 80's party at a bar tomorrow night. I tried Google searching stores for Novelty t-shirts, but I could not locate any. Any suggestions? I would be looking for a place that would have some 80's movies/tv show t-shirts. I work downtown, but I can travel to any part of the city on my lunch hour. Any assistance is appreciated.

Talking 80's Tee shirts

There is a card type store in Shadyside that sells Seinfeld and other TV show tee shirts. It is on Walnut Street across the street from Pamela's Restaurant.
Hope this helps! Enjoy the party!

Just find a long sleeve shirt and a skinny tie and colorful sport coat. That was sort of a New Wave Look.

GoodWill

My friend Timmy - was famous for wearing old Rolling Stones concert tee shirts and Ted Nugent tee shirts that he bought when he attended concerts back in the day.

My friend Tommy - who is a crack head is the same way.

They might look like rags and have a bunch of holes in them, but that is what makes them look so cool.

At the same time, when you shop at Goodwill - if it is not perfect, they cut it up and throw it in the bag of rags pile. So everything on the racks are in pretty good shape.

I would go with the Cheech and Chong weed tee shirts or the old Budweiser tee shirts. Who know's - maybe you could even find one with the frogs on it or Spud's McKensey.

You can find Def Leppard shirts at JCPenney these days. Hot Topic might even have some Guns N' Roses or Motley Crue shirts available as well.

Try Groovy; they are at 1304 E. Carson St. (or maybe its 1317..I'm seeing conflicting addresses online). Although they have more toys, games and memorabilia than clothing.

Quite honestly, you should try Hot Topic in the mall. They have a lot of retro-themed shirts.
