We just moved here from Seattle a few months ago and have adjusted well overall. But I miss my morning radio show that made the Seattle commute enjoyable. I have about the same travel time here and have been searching the airwaves for something to keep me laughing in the morning. I really don't care what the music genre is as I like most types of music. Any suggestions?

WDVE 102.5 FM has a funny morning show, and they play oldies hard rock, from what I hear.

92.9 is BOB FM - I've never listened to it in the AM, so I've no idea how the morning jocks are, but they play a mixture of music thru the day.

104.7 Quinn & Rose - local politically conservative talk radio - no music.

94.5 Oldies from the 50's - 70's - I think they've got a pretty good early morning show, too, from what I've heard.

It all just depends on your taste.

blessings, Shen

Opie and Anthony are on WTZN-FM (93.7) from 6-9... no music, but they can be very funny....

Get a satellite radio and you'll probably be able to get your Seattle morning show.

There is no question at all that KISS FM's (96.1) MORNING FREAK SHOW is the funniest thing going in Pittsburgh right now. period. Opie and Anthony are hilarious as well, but you gotta check out KISS. The music after the morning show stinks (top 40 and rap-type crap), but the show itself is perfect!

Thumbs up Wyep

I don't know if they have a morning show, so this might be off-topic, but WYEP is a real gem for Pittsburgh to have.

Combining NPR with free-form radio is as close to airwave nirvana that I can get, and we've got nothing like that around here (Toledo, Ohio).

So I'll vote for WYEP anyway.

KISS FM's morning radio show may be the worst morning radio show in the history of the world. They take the quirky and crazy humor that exists on every wacky morning show in every major city in the country and duplicate it. Everyone thinks they are original but they are not.

I enjoy the 105.9 "The X" morning show with Tim Benz. Him and his buddy are funny without being crude or obnoxious.

I don't listen to radio shows from every major city in the country--just from Pittsburgh-- so it isn't a duplication for me.
