We're not implying the race of the Barber...I was just stating you need someone that knows how to cut a black persons head.

Go to VIP Styles. My boyfriend has been going to them for years, and my co-worker's grandson (who is a 21 year old white male who likes to get fades), goes to them as well. They're downtown on Smithfield Street.

Or go to TOP NOTCH STYLES, located on Butler Street in Lawrenceville. They have a FACEBOOK page so that you can look at some of their work. They seem to do a very good job on white boy fades, as well.

The Barbers Inn
5744 Baum Blvd,
Pittsburgh, PA 15206-3763

I've been going there off and on since they opened the city shop, its a bit pricey, but the folks there sure know how to cut some hair. They take their time, and can definitely work a fade. They also have a shop in Swissvale on Washington St and Monongahela across from the fire station. Never been disappointed.

Please tell me the old man doesn't cut hair anymore. He was not good long ago. He can't be cutting hair still. No way!

I would go to:

Paul Pirollo Barber Shop‎
722 N Sheridan Ave
Pittsburgh, PA 15206-2521
(412) 361-1410

He is an old school good barber that takes care of business. Probably has a million fades under his belt and still has playboys to read while you wait. One of the last real barbers in the area.

It's his son Joe. But I shouldn't have mentioned it as I heard he was like a stylist and his ad says traditional cuts and neck shave for men and boys.
