Yeah, I am as scared as the next guy about "bad" parts of town...that's well established. But hell, half the houses in the Hill are now nicer than mine...nice tree-lined streets with old-school street lamps out front. The view from Mercy Hospital really tells a tale. The area just east of the Mellon Arena as actually gotten, if this is possible, quite nice! To locals I suppose that is more "Uptown" than "The Hill", but either way, I wouldn't be worried if I were you.

There's about a .0000001% chance of you having a problem with the Hill in the daytime at a library. In my terribly unscientific opinion.

Captain

PS- Elder, you are a complete nut.

i walk the Hill often. There are pockets that make me feel uncomfortable but for the most part, no problem. Generally I find if Im getting a reaction from the neighborhood is because Im acting uncomfortable.
