Yup, I wonder what excuses he will have this time when the roads are impassable. They have plenty of advance warning. The snow is supposed to start at midnight, well before the morning rush. And it's not a holiday.

Well, I just measured 2" out on the deck, but looking at the webcam on Hillman Library, it doesn't look like it even snowed in Oakland, and the radar looks pretty clear for quite a while too.

A dusting at best here around the Highland Park Bridge. Another hyped up news story. They sure were excited to justify their "Storm Team", or "Sever Weather Team", or whatever hyped up name they love to call themselves.

It's beautiful out there this morning! The snow is sticking to everything except the roads and it looks like a winter postcard. Too bad I have to work. I'd love to get my camera and go for a hike.

But this hardly lived up to a "winter storm".

Just a dusting here in Polish Hill, too. I'm still waiting on that nearly half-foot.

Out here in the great white north of Beaver County, I have a solid 3 1/2", on the deck. The patio is only slushy, and actually just wet on part of it.

I was Downtown around 4 a.m., and if you hadn't been listening to the weather forecasts, you wouldn't have known it snowed. I literally had more snow in the bed of the truck than there was on a 2 acre parking lot.

I will say one thing, Seven Springs had amazing conditions today. Some of the best skiing all year. It was great with no lines. Hope to get there next week one more time before the weather really gets warm.

Did I call that or what? The only job easier than a weatherman is a teacher. Both are way over paid and too many days off.
