Hey folks --

We're looking at a house in Jefferson Hills, and I'm reading about the serious air pollution issues in the Clairton area (which I know is close).

Is this something I should be very concerned about in the Jefferson Hills area too? We would consider moving elsewhere if so.

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Thanks!

I am not sure about your question, but it is one that many people who read would ask, so it is hardly a dumb question. Clairton DOES have air quality issues and considering people are more interested in money than air, I would ask the same question. There is a detailed map somewhere that shows pollution across the US, but I can't remember where it is. GASP is an organization that would probably know all about your concerns and you could contact them.
