Does it have to be an eastern suburb?

With working in Greensburg, Hempfield, Unity Township and Latrobe can also be considered.

***old f@rt alert***

After walking to school 4 miles each way uphill, when I got home all we did was play hoops and baseball. With only 3 TV stations, no cell phones to text on, no computer games, what else could we do?

You are too funny! Is this sarcastic or true? I think kids will get bored of all the video equipment one day and look at a checker board or Fusbol table with awe.

True! That's why I'd like more snow in winter. They love to play in it. I grew up in Chicago and we lived outside in our ingloos in winter.

Do you find that the adults in the city and rural areas socialize with their neighbors?
The great thing about individuals is it's impossible to answer that question without asking it about specific individuals.

Generally speaking, uh, yeah, why wouldn't they?

Uh, because suburbs are known more for community outreach amongst neighbors. Do you as an individual participate in backyard bbqs or meals for neighbors in need?

I'd like to point out that my question is out there for "individuals" to answer regarding their observations and experiences.

Not here. If anything many of the city neighborhoods are known more for this than the typical impersonal, drive-only newer suburbs.
