It was incredible. One of the most amazing games I've ever been to. We were in literally the last row of the stadium, and it was worth every bit of the hike. And the crowd was one of the best I've ever seen. On every defensive play - especially in the second half - the crowd was 100% involved, screaming, chanting, and shaking and pounding on the metal grate at the top of the stadium. The biggest challenge was calming folks down for offensive plays.

The usual third-quarter "Renegade" led to a great Flacco sack. And before Baltimore made their attempt on those last four downs, the stadium gave us a bonus round of "Renegade," which sent us even further over the edge.

I've been at several tense, down-to-the-wire, and crowd-involved games at Heinz Field. But I'm not sure I've ever been there when we were that loud. And, at least in our section, it was a good group of fans. Not too many "drunky the clowns" or extreme inappropriateness. Just good, old fashioned, screaming your guts out for your team.

And the article is right about the distances fans will travel for the Black & Gold. We met a couple who made a 10-hour drive from Atlanta for the game. And given the Jets win tonight (woohoo!), I think they're staying the entire week for the AFC Championship. Steeler Nation is a dedicated bunch!

Here we go, Steelers! Here we go!

As a bummed out Pats fan,(not surprised they lost) but at least I didn't trash talk the Jets or the organization,as most of the cocky.arrogant fans up here did,I am moving to Pittsburgh in Aug.this year, and hafta ta say I,don't think the Jets will win. I really don't like the Steelers, but really hope they beat the snorts outta Jets, with that said,Good Luck to all you Steelers fans, just be extra loud, and enjoy the game,I'll be rooting for em as my husband and 4 sons are die hard Steelers fans, guess I attend a few games this Fall...
