Just curious, the many woods that seem to be throughout Pittsburgh..

Are they popular with kids?

I have almost been run over by young dirt-bike riders in Frick Park on several occasions. So, I guess that is a yes.

Yes but you have to be careful since there are liable to be steep ravines and drop off cliffs that you don't see readily d/t the dense foliage.

I always think of the news story I saw where a burgler in a neighborhood was making his way out of the house as the police drove up.

The thief ran into the nearby woods and fell off a cliff where the police got him. How funny!

They allow dirt bikes in Frick Park?

When I was a kid we were in the woods a lot, but I just don't think kids are out as much as they were back in my day. I walk in the many wooded areas around my home and only see older people, never kids.

I do see a kid sled riding down the hill out the back of my home right now and that is nice to see. He is flying!

I think he meant mountain bikes, I've never seen dirt bikes there.
