Maybe they consider Youngstown already dead, as opposed to dying?

Send Richard Florida the article for his comment. Garbage article with almost no content from my view outside of two population demographic figures. Hardly makes for any type of informative read. Quality editorial leadership over at Newsweek ehhh not !

I'm sure of it. Smart people would find plenty to appreciate in Pittsburgh -- the low unemployment, educational institutions, cultural attractions, urban liveability, affordability, architecture, scenic beauty...

Yeah there's nothing worse than the usual overblown Pittsburgh cheerleader on here, but that article is completely pathetic. Pittsburgh isn't in the clear at all just yet, but it's definately not to be labeled as a crap city anymore...horrible list of cities, and how in the world could we possibly top Detroit? It doesn't really make any sense, total failure on News Week's behalf.

LOL, I think Newsweek is the one that's dying. And it'll be dead and buried long before Pittsburgh ever will be.

Don't you think they would feel foolish putting Pittsburgh on that list after a million other lists put Pittsburgh up for positive things? Boring... last one out, hit the lights! (for Newsweek)
