It really varies since a lot of students live in these areas and the prices can be, for dumps, like $450 or less, or you can get a really nice place in shadyside for $650+. But, a studio is as cheap as it gets, so to go beyond $600 for just a studio would be really pushing it IMO. At that price, you might as well go for a 1BR, you know?

I think that is a decent price for a nice studio in Shadyside or North Oakland. Also depends if so some utilities are included.
