Have not tried the Golden Pig, but tried pretty much the rest. My favorite it Dasoni in Robinson Township. It's new, it's nice, and the food is great! The most authentic too (from someone who has spent a lot of time in Korea). Unfortunately, it's a drive from the city (but well worth it). In Oakland, Korea Garden on Semple St in South Oakland is excellent too (the new Turkish Restaurant next to that is really good too).

Big bump, I know, but worth sharing . . .

Green Pepper has a weekend lunch buffet, $20:

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Korean food in Pittsburgh is relatively expensive (cheap local eats is part of the food experience . . . in Korea, so charging $8 for what costs $1 can be hard to take), but that's a fact of life with a lot of ethnic food anywhere you go. At least with a buffet new diners can get a look at everything before ordering a big plate of it.

There is also a new Korean bakery in Squirrel Hill:

Pennsylvasia: New Korean bakery / cakery in Squirrel Hill.

Whatever happened to that bitchass who claimed that Pittsburgh sucks because he can't buy fresh Korean BBQ at 4AM?

I will have to check these places out, thanks. I'm a really big fan of Korean food, but nearly everyone else I know hates it.
