Anyone have any predictions when and if Pgh will ever get another skyscraper added to their downtown area? Anything in the works?

Haha same, although the question mark should have given it away in retrospect. My prediction is that the newest "skyscraper" will erected at Fifth and Wood within the next few years.

If you term 'skyscraper' as anything more than 8 stories like the Post Gazette, chances are pretty good.

there's two large tracts of property that have been purchased downtown. Doesn't necessarily mean a skyscraper...but at least two "3PNC" type of structures are more than likely to break ground sometime over the next few years. Hopefully one of them turns out to be a legit tower.

i wouldnt mind one in the South Side (at extreme end of business district, in the vicinity of Sarah/East Carson), or in the HIll District, actually. i dont mean a towering one, but probably something akin to the Centre City Tower (if its still called that).
