Could someone recommend places to shop for mattresses and furnitures? Not overpriced?

Thanks,

Macy's still has some great sales sometimes and many times it is better quality at a decent price. If you want reasonable, you can check Ikea out, but that is more cutting edge stuff. Mattress Factory is pretty reasonable in Aspinwall for that, but once again, Macy's depending on what sales they have going. They usually have a Memorial Day sales event, so you might be in luck.

We've had good luck with the Original Mattress Factory. Note if for some reason you want to customize your tops, you can buy tops for cheap on the Internet.

We bought our mattress set at Original Mattress Factory. We didn't haggle over the price although by all accounts we should have. In comparison, a queen set is much cheaper at Sam's Club. However, I have no idea if they are comparable. One problem with Sam's Club is getting the set home. Maybe you could order them online and have them delivered.

Big lots. Both matresses and furniture. Sam's or Costco also.

Not sure about his business reputation, but his radio ads are some of the most annoying lately... right next that new miracle weight loss ad.

It's just a man talking with nothing in the background, I thought? It's relaxing compared to a lot of ads -- kind of like listening to NPR.
