My son (23) and his girilfriend (22) took the Megabus from Pittsburgh to NYC last new year and had no problems at all. They are both small town midwest college students, they got there and back and had a blast.

Oddly enough, one of the plumbers who came by today to bid on a job mentioned that he had taken the Megabus and loved it. Said people were nicer and friendlier than you typically get on airplanes. He was a middle aged guy.

I would fly instead of bus'ing it. Faster and more relaxing . Even driving your own car would be more luxurious and faster.

I think luxurious would highly depend on what you're driving with the main drawback that you're, well, driving

Having been in a war-torn country, where my bus was being shot at, yes it's very safe.

I would eat steak instead of ramen noodles. It tastes better and has more protein.

Why can't Pittsburgh airport become a connecting hub for airlines? It has the infrastructure. Would be a hub for connecting flights between midwest and east coast.

Well, yeah, riding in a car, even all but the most basic of cars, would generally be more luxurious and faster I'd say. Only a little faster though. If you actually have to drive, then no, it's pretty tiring.

Pittsburgh Int'l was built as a hub for US Air- but that didn't pan out too well in the long term after the airline went bankrupt.

If you know any airlines that are interested, I'm sure the county officials would be appreciative as the place has a lot of excess capacity now.

Is the Pittsburgh Megabus stop still at the convention center?
