I have. I tried it when they had Iranian food (or was it Afghan?) It wasn't bad. It was different. I had to eat it on the bench outside though, since it's a walk up window.

Does anyone know where you can get specialty (or "gourmet") pizzas? (Chinese, Indian, whatever)

Made it to Las Velas in Market Square last night. I ordered the Chile Rellenos. It was outstanding. The bottled Mexican imports are priced a little bit high. They also charge for chips and salsa, as does Mad Mex. Those are no big issues. At least they are staying open and trying to cater to some who may want to eat past five o'clock.

It is beside the Oyster House, upstairs. There is a new restuarant under construction downstairs.

A Five Guys Downtown would crush. Granted, I go to the one in the Waterworks all of the time and they are not inexpensive comared to fast food. A cheesburger, small fry and small soda is nearly $12.00, but it is awesome and the fries proportions generous. I also think a Ritas would do very well Downtown. Oakland get everything and deservedly so.

I love 5 Guys, but hate Rita's. Talk about eating chemicals.

I get one thing only at Ritas. Custard. The teeny boppers can have those fruity concoctions. Their custard is great by itself with no mixed ice.

I wish their was a Five Guys downtown too, but Oakland and Waterworks are central enough for me.

I also think they need a Panera's or an Eat n Park
