It definitely is Italian as well, if that can be possible. I've had some great specials like a blackened chicken and some of the greens are very southern style. But I like their pizza the most ... favorite in the city.

Also, Enrico's just opened up a new restaurant in Highland Park called E2 ... haven't had a chance to try it though.

Speaking of Elements, here is a nice Pop City article on the owner's journey from Cabo to Pittsburgh:

Whatever is used (frequently salmon, as well as other seafood) is real.

I ate at "Nola on the Square" in Market Square the other night. Great New Orleans/Cajun cuisine. Ate alligator for the first time LOL. I had cajun pork chops which was out of this world. A must try for everyone!

They're never open when my partner and I are mutually off from work.

Really? It was Monday and it seemed they were open normal dinning hours then. It was great, hope you can try it soon.

Thanks. We are going to give them a shot the third Saturday in July for lunch. That's the next coinciding Saturday we both have off. I've been dying to sample their croque monsieur!

What Winghart's tweeted earlier this afternoon:

Quote:
Ask and you shall receive. Starting next week we're open Saturday 12-5. We're also extending our hours Wed-Fri until 8:30!
This is in advance of the booze, which isn't set to start until I think the 22nd. So Winghart's will be open until 8:30 Wed-Fri nights and 12-5 on Saturdays. I suspect the Saturday hours will go longer once they get the liquor flowing.

BTW, I also posted in the Cranberry thread about BRGR opening a second location up there. Had already forgotten about this thread. It's a good article and mentions a few other burger places including a couple more yet to come. BRGR renovating building quickly to get into Pittsburgh's Cranberry market | Pittsburgh Business Times
