I hate it when that happens. Usually that happens to me on cold mornings after I take a shower, get dressed, hop in my truck and go.

Weather Underground has the temperature in Pittsburgh back up to 96.

Where are you seeing these real time updates? I have the Pittsburgh International Airport (KPIT) location selected and have rapid-fire updates on and it is only updating once an hour. It's been showing 95 for the past 2 hours. And the NOAA website is showing the maximum temp as 96.1.

Weather Underground's real-time updates must not work consistently. I have current conditions for Pittsburgh and Philadelphia both open right now; Pittsburgh is updating for me, and Philadelphia is not. I did see for myself that the temperature reached 97 sometime after 2PM. By 3PM it'd dropped down to 95 before warming back up to 96 shortly thereafter, and it's now dropped down to 93 with increasing cloudiness.

Have you guys had any problems with roads buckling due to the heat?

Haven't seen roads buckling, but the front window of the office building I work in cracked yesterday due to the heat. It didn't break and pop out, it just shattered into a spiderweb of hundreds of cracks, like a windshield. Weird.

Is there a reason you're leaving Pittsburgh off this list?

Because it's "other" temperature observations. It's 94 in Pittsburgh this hour.

It would be a better list with the Pgh. info IMO.
