Verizon service shut off to part of Fayette County

Hopefully the tool that did this is punished severely.

I heard that a union member once kicked a dog. Curse those unions!

Don't those greedy workers understand that Verizon's CEO had several years of pay cuts, and is now forced to live on a salary of $18.1 million? What right do they have to be angry, the greedy bastards!

Hopefully the unions didn't orchestrate and/or condone the action.

So, it's ok to cut off all landline service, including 911, police, fire, EMS, to citizens because of a dispute with your employer?

PS - Verizon's landline service/division has been losing $. If they are set up like my company, each region/business unit is responsible for its own profit/loss (don't know for sure but just throwing that out there). Just because the overall company is making $, it doesn't mean that division is or should continue on status quo. Changes need to be made to make it profitable once again.

Boo hoo...the evil CEO's again. Please come to the table with a better argument.

Of course, they could continue to employ people even though they don't need them and they could continue giving them raises even though that division is losing money but hey, we really are getting into the realm of corporate "welfare" now.

We don't know if it was a union action.

Thank goodness there was a plan B.

Yeah, because there are so many other parties with the motive for a crime like that right now, at this exact time. Total coincidence right? Just another case of entitlement run amok...
