looking to hire a maid to come monthly and clean my apartment. anyone have any suggestions? live in the east end.

Try care.com for finding maids...I used them to hire my housekeeper and she's great! It's worth the small fee you pay because you can see what days/times they are available, what area of town, etc. and they are MUCH cheaper than a service and, in my experience, much more thorough and do a better job.

If you want to hire an individual, just advertise on Craig's List for free. If you want to hire a cleaning company, there are plenty in the yellow pages to call.
