Has anyone else noticed how many fewer stinkbugs there are compared to this time last year? Last year the invasion began mid August, this year, it's just the random bug here and there. I hope I'm not speaking too soon.

We have had the opposite happen here. (gibsonia) Last year I found maybe 10 bugs. This year they are already all over the place outside. I am dreading the cold temps and their need to get inside.

I haven't seen any for weeks... and I have my fingers crossed that I won't see them soon!

I think it's because it's still warm out and they only come in the house when it's cold out.

I feel like there are more. To be honest, I never saw (or maybe just noticed) any outside before this year. They are all over my backyard. I'm dreading the home invasion in the winter.

Nah, where I'm at, they were everywhere in August last year. I know they look for shelter when it gets cold, but we were inundated while it was still warm last year.

Not sure yet. Have seen a few clinging to the outside of the house so far, but it's a little early.

So far, there are very few and it does seem less than last year. Maybe it is a bunch of hype?

It wasn't last year. The inside of my dustbuster would have attested to that . . .
