But just to be a jagoff, for all the people that push the city over suburbs, how many of you support the arts by attending plays?
I think so... DH and I are partial to the Pittsburgh Public Theater and the O'Reilly Theater!

We try to see all their shows, but usually miss one a season.

My wife and I really enjoy the City Theatre on the SoutSide.

I really enjoy Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. There are also a number of amateur groups that are quite good such as The Mendelssohn Choir and the Edgewood Symphony Orchestra.

I also really like Club Cafe's Open Mic, and I catch a variety of shows at the Thunderbird Cafe and the Rex Theatre.

My wife is more of a performing arts person than I am (when she isn't crazy-busy at work).

Incidentally, I'll admit I don't really understand the setup to the question. Different people like cities for different reasons. That's part of the point behind them. Of course I live in a suburb (albeit one that is contiguous with the City), and in general I don't have a problem with people who prefer living farther out in the suburbs or in rural areas, so maybe I am not supposed to understand the setup.

That's my kind of wedding.... I was stuck at one a few years ago where the limited bar was Bud or Coke......

Yuck. I drank water all night.
