No. They are Downtown, and in Old Louisville, which is a fabulous area.

UKUKUK, did you talk all those pictures yourself? I'm asking b/c in the pic with the little girl and boy at the dinousaur statue, that girl is dressed like a kid from the 1950s.

No, they didn't try to taze me! In fact, it's one of the few places I found to park 24/7 and walk/bike around the city from that was free.

But good eye, trotter! The view up there is gorgeous!

Exactly! The COL was a beautiful building and Pitt's facilities in general make the University of Kentucky look like a one room schoolhouse.

The turkeys surprised the hell out of me! Here I am in urban paradise and BOOM! I turn a corner into a forest full of wildlife!

Louisville is far from the worst though. Indy would kill for an area like that, and so would all but a handful of sunbelt towns.
